Trying to "redo" my blog. You know change the background, banners, etc. Mind boggling! Anyway, Cooper, Dean, and I are enjoying our summer. I have been off from school and loving my extra time with Coop. He cracks me up with his wit and charm. Just like his Daddy! We have adopted a bit of an attitude lately, but we are dealing with that with a lovely "time out" chair in our front foyer... Which seems to be used quite often.
I am indulging myself this weekend with a Girls Trip to the beach! I cannot wait. I have never been away with the girls since Cooper has been born. So I figured it was about time. After our (Mine and Coop's) Beach trip in May, I am looking forward to going "alone" this time! I do, however, feel slightly guilty that I am vacationing without my husband and child... But a Wise Women (namely my Step-Mom, or "Bonus-Mom" have you) told me, "Every women needs time away. Away from work, husband, kids and all the other stuff of everyday life!" So here goes... I'll let you know how the weekend goes!

Pic's I promised!
Coop's Birthday!
Coop and Dean searching for eggs!
This is what the Easter Bunny brought the boys... Obviously Jack was not impressed!

Finally got the computer fixed and the internet hooked back up at home! I can finally blog at my leisure! We're holdin' the fort down. Only 16 more days and my 1st semester of nursing school will be over. It's been really busy, kind of hard, but well worth it! The only downfall is that my poor child has forgotten who I am. Tonight he said, as I was leaving, that he wanted to go to school with me. When I told him he couldn't, he insisted that he would be good, if only I would take him with me! It broke my heart. Just keep telling myself I'm doing all this for him!

Our wedding anniversary is Sunday! 6 years... Some days it feels like 6 months, other days 60 years, but all in all, it's been a great 6 years. I have a great deal to be thankful for... Great husband, beautiful, healthy child, a nice home, and a great family.

I have added some recent pics... birthday, playdate with Jack, and Easter. Enjoy and

Okay. So it's been like a month and a half since I've last written. School has been crazy, work as well. Oh, did I forget to mention that I have my own residential cleaning business, and make specialty cakes on the side (for weddings, birthdays, etc.) Where do I find the time? If God could have only given me 36 hours in a day, I think I could do it. Don't we all wish for that. I have tons of new pics I need to post, but that will have to wait for another day. Mmmm, let's see... any exciting news... Coop just turned 3 on March 26th. It just doesn't seem like 3 years ago. How time flys! We did the whole Batman theme for his party this year. It turned out great. Oh, yeah, Dean and I are on this whole new workout routine. P90X... Together we have lost a total of 36 lbs. We workout every day together (well, almost everyday). It has actually been quite therapeutic for our marriage. Not that we were having problems to begin with, but being together, just him and me, it's pretty cool. We talk, we laugh (mainly at each other), and just spend time together. Cheapest therapy we could find! ha!ha! Plus, I feel so much better, so much more energy! Hopefully, I'll have that beach body by summer!

Since I am the "last " person in the family to start a blog (even my Step-Mom has one), I figured I would join the world of blogging! A little about me... I'm 32 years old, in nursing school, working full-time, married to a great guy, and have an awesome son, Cooper, who will be 3 in March. So needless to say, my life is FULL! After reading all of my sisters' blogs, as well as, my S-Mom's, I'm not really sure where this blog will take me, or you, for that matter. Maybe a "de-stresser" for me, funny stories of our everyday lives, or just frequent opinions and comments I may randomly have. I just don't know.

The title of my blog is "Through Cooper's Eyes". He has had glasses since the age of one. He's far-sighted... Or at least that's what we paid the doctor $500.00 to tell us. I sometimes wonder, by the looks he gives me and others, just what Cooper really does see. The innocence in his eyes (which I hope he can hold on to for as long as possible), the pure joy in his eyes when a train or plane passes by, the fear of thunder, or the imagination in his eyes when make believing with his Tonkas.

So like I said before I'm not really sure where I'm going, or where I'll end up, but hop on and just enjoy the ride. I'm sure there will be things that will be funny and maybe not so funny, but it will be the truth!
